These ads uphold a long standing tradition that Apple has of poking fun at Windows. I don't love them for their subtly, I save up that appreciation for more covert branding, such as Leopard's representation of a networked PC.

I first snickered at the beige CRT monitor (I still want to know who said "hey, lets paint them dirty so they look like new in 5 years!"). Then I noticed the blue screen of death, the likes of which most PC users haven't seen too much of for years, yet the memory remains clear as yesterday.

While on the topic, I use to consider Windows a predecessor of Free-BSD (it's an acronym joke, now laugh).

Redesign IIb

Turns out I'm super picky. I sat on that last design in 'beta' for so long that I got sick of looking at it. Meanwhile, doing a bit of css and stuff at work inspired me to get my butt in gear on something that doesn't suck... and lo! I feel this design is reasonably better. It's also moure flexible (at least in my head... got ideas for future development).

While I haven't quite got it working in it's fully embedded format, I have at least a couple galleries in the works, so I don't have to rely exclusively on Deviant Art (not that I don't love DA).

I'd also like to go on record saying Blogger has some shortcomings... I'm already using a couple php hacks and foresee a couple moure. Still, it's enabled me to get moving again, ever so slowly.

Moure to come, and I'm always open to suggestions on what to put up here.

Exmoure.com - Reopen for Biznatch

So I know at least one person stumbled across it in the early stages, so there's no reason to continue sitting on it. Ta da! New blog, or at least the beta ooze from which I hope to construct it.

Does this mean I'm returning to the internet at long last? Truthfully, not unless I find myself with a lot of sudden free time (which would probably mean loss of job or limb, so let's hope not). However, I have been somewhat productive again, having put up a deviantArt and Flickr account. I hope to incorporate some of this back into this here site (local gallery etc), but if I wait until that's "done" I'll be here forever.

So.... more to come?

Edit: If the images look blocky and don't make sense, it's your fault you don't have Firefox. In the future I have no intention of supporting IE, and this site may not even work at all. :P
